Here is a quick chat from yours truly about what - it - really - takes in this industry. How to view it, how to view your current status and where you could be in a month from now….

As you go through life, you will undoubtebly change your career path at least a few times. They say the average is actually around 7. Every time you make a move in your career, it may affect your future greatly! The way you leave and transition from one career path to another is also important, and so I’m going to share a story briefly about my recent career path changes and how they have affected me.

What started out as a beautiful career move, to set up a new CO. with a new partner that seemed both lucrative and pleasure to do business with, ended up becoming quite the challenge and difficult time for the both of us.

During our last phase of business things unfortunately took many turns for the worse and we simply found it almost impossible to work together. However both of our skill sets and knowledge bases indicated that this would be a great match in the business arena. In all honesty, it truly should have taken off!

Sometimes, when you pair up passion with a hunger for success, or two leaders whom are equally as upbeat as can be, the chemistry can simply explode more and more as each ingredient gets added, and eventually when the smoke dies down you have to examine what is left from the explosion… interesting metaphore i must say, but it’s the truth here. Once we got over the worst hurdles of our issues, it was time to make sure that the needed steps get taken in order for us both to come out of this with something positive and not a trail of sabotage or ill intent towards the business, its clients, its future etc.

I will say that while going through the process of resigning from an executive position, it was not a pleasant experience at first, however I was determined to come out of this with good karma and in good faith. Parting with someone in business can be sticky, and needs to be handled with sensitivity and finnesse. Being able to think a few steps ahead and never approaching the situation with a personal angle is the best approach in my opinion.

When the day comes for you to either resign, or you get fired, laid off, have to leave etc. make sure you handle the situation properly and do not burn your bridges. Chances are either the news will spread quickly, or will lurk around your circle for quite some time, you must be graceful and show appreciation and a calm spirit during the process. You never know if you might need somebody from that circle one day, or if they might need you. Seeing you freak out, write personal attacks or reasons why you’re quitting with any vulgarity is sure to sink any future you might have with anyone in that group, even if you ARE right. There is a lot to be said about not showing all your cards right away, and forgiving, and walking away with your head up and proud, but not obnoxious.

I wished my partner well and we are on great terms though I feel that many people perhaps would have handled it differently, and would have made it difficult for themselves and others simply due to pride and what they deem as ‘fair’ or ‘just’. I know my industry, and I like to think ahead… It’s never wise to damage your rep with this type of stuff, or anyone elses, karma WILL get you.

There is no promo or post for further details or help with your resignation letter here, this is just a straight ramble that I needed to release as I am finally able to relax from  recent events. If there is something wrong with your business or if you ever feel that… butterfly…. that something is off/not right/need more info etc. chances are you might be right, and being confrontational is the worst thing you can do. The reverse may be a good move, simply stay quiet, gather data, and absorb what is going on before reacting. You will find out a lot by virtue of your silence, and others may be forced to bring you news due to your lack of involvement or participation etc.

There is no such thing as perfect way to get fired or resign from a position, or even part with someone on personal levels. There is no easy way to find out things you don’t want to find out. The only thing there is, is ‘action’ and ‘reaction’. Make sure that when you are performing either, you do so with good faith and think far ahead of what might happen due to your reaction/action…

Well, today marks a pretty cool day for various reasons…

First and foremost, my blog got polished up today! I am told there are no more bugs, no more glitches, and I can finally start my rambles and creative posts. It’s been a few months of building, designing, coding, and finally, today I get a message from my coder that the blog is ‘good to go’, so welcome!

 Second, I decided that since my marketing efforts, programs for clients, and my own product lines are doing well, I would give back to the communities I am involved with and try to bring up the next generation of marketers under my wings.

 I decided to create a post at Digital Point (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=788465) where I thought I would give a few copies away. While writing the post I figured “A few won’t be enough, I gotta do something really special!” So a ‘few’ turned into 10. All I asked people to do was post *I want Project Wealthy*. I’ll be honest, I was expecting maybe 20 or so people as I only gave it a 24hr window of time.

It was the middle of the day, and I decided to see if anyone had responded, and see how bad people really want this product. See, even though the product now costs $250 (was $99), it was the very first product I ever made coming into the ClickBank world, so it didn’t get the attention or the play I was hoping it would, as I had no affiliates, no real budget to push this, and was already thinking 3 products ahead….

A few months later, I am up to 7+ products, 3-4 more launching in the next few months, and I had raised the price of PW to $250 as a test, so the conversions… well… just stopped! And so I just let it sit there, until today…

To my surprize, i am looking at the forum, my thread, and see 78 posts, and least 70 separate people making creative attempts to get their copy, WOW. Another thing I notice - new affiliates come on board, sales start happening - my own generosity of giving my product away created quite the buzz, sales, affiliate recruitment, and I am left with having to tell an associate she must pick 15 people out of the 70 as winners.

It’ Down Right Dirty ! However, conveniently legal too (unless you’re on the receiving end of getting hi-jacked). It’s been a popular tactic lately in the affiliate world - to spy, learn from and outdo your competitors be they affiliates or vendors. To snoop and copy their profitable PPC or BUM marketing campaigns and steal your revenue streams by shaping competing campaigns, outbidding you, outwriting you, recruiting more than you, and ultimately making MUCH more money than you!
