Affiliate Marketing Forum Reviews | The Fcuking Truth!

Posted by ncmedia in: Affiliate Marketing 101, Branding & Design, Industry Product Reviews

This post comes shortly after my 1000th post at an affiliate marketing forum (<<You should read it - I gave away tons of free profitable campaigns) or webmaster forum… I signed up to DOZENS years and years ago, and went through signing up to about 20 (or perhaps ‘resigning up’ would be more accurate) about a year or so ago…

It can be a rather… intimate experience, one part of you is just trying to fit in with this group, another part of you is absorbing and filtering the bullshit, another part of you wants to network, and yes for many these plague infested fcuking forums are also filled with spammers, wankers, scammers, wannabees, and HILARIOUSLY fubar signature links with all of them chasing the same nickel… Now don’t get me wrong, forum marketing is HUGE, and I love it myself, and use signature links too however what I find fascinating are the kids that blatantly put “Make 7K your first 3 weeks online” - yet proceed to ask the stupidest and most basic questions totally diluting his own credit and being a broken inglush hypocrite … . .. Grrrr.. . …

So - in light of this new little milestone and being loyal to xx forums, and constantly refining my journey through them all, I’m going to try to offer a non-biased straight up look at the truth about each forum below. Please feel free to drop your opinions or agree/disagree with me - I AM going to offer a few of my ‘opinions’ here as well.

1. NicheChoppers Marketing and webmaster forums
100% Free, No paid sections yet, Na ads! must sign up to view most goods:
Visit: http://forums.nichechoppers.com

^^ I’m obviously going to have to spam my own first - it’s newer than most, is JUST starting to get busy, and I’M GLAD I waited a year of being loyal to others before really shaping and recruiting into mine - in short: No hassle bung free environment, moderated well, rather aggressive yet loose approach, tying my family in a little tighter with each day. Closed loop family with success stories, tons of step by steps, growing daily.

2. Digital Point review - Visit: http://forums.digitalpoint.com
Usually where most people start at, it’s HUGE and full of…. crap:however is also the forum I myself had to filter and waste time at for over 1000 posts (1001 at this time) before handing in my diet card and bowing out… I’ll be back, however probably just to laugh at the de ja vu of stupidity and horrible moderation. If it’s one thing DP has, it is shear SIZE and the fact that it is always BUSY - however at the same time is FULL of just… everything bad with this industry, like everything…

I personally must have helped get 20-30 idiots banned from there… FACK makes me angry thinking about that place!! If you’re a TOTAL n00b, enjoy the rare little golden nugget you can find in there, and don’t buy ebooks or click on signature links unless you view it from a marketing point of view not a consumer… (Hi guys, miss me yet?). If DP let ME run the boat for a few days, I’d a) kick a lot of people off b) get BETTER MODS c) Monetize it better d) Change the colors :(

3. WarriorForum review - Visit: http://warriorforum.com/forum/
Well, definitely a step up from DP!! WF is known to have a TON of the bigger ebook and digital products/services players all hawking their newest WSO (Warrior Special Offer) to each other and there is a LOT of padding, and patting! Hey I myself have sold a few things in their WSO section, and their JV section is actually pretty good if you’re scouting for new offers, launching, or looking to partner up with someone on a project…

I thought about dropping some names here but I’m not that kind with my link juice yet… and this blog seems to do great with ranking - so perhaps I’ll give some props to at least one person I can say a LOT about in there so far - and that is Nicholas from MasteredManuscripts << Great writer.

4. ClickBankSuccess review - Visit: http://clickbanksuccessforum.com/forum/
Once I joined CB - I wanted to start scouting for AFF’s and for pubs alike, thus joining CB’s appointed forum… I liked it a lot more at first than I do today - Main reason is it might as well be a ’support’ forum as their rules and door are quite tight re what you can/can’t talk about… If you so much as question whether or not CB is down/acting up/failing, the post gets removed and you may get banned… I can see why they do it and I would hate that on my forum too, so perhaps a stupid example but overall - THEY’RE TIGHT!

The good part is you’ll find a LOT of both CB n00bs and pro’s asking/answering GOOD and relevant CB questions. Though even with their own appointed forum - DP’s CB section alone easily compares to the activity and n00bness factor in each… (GUYS - A FEW FCUKING STICKIES!! THAT’S ALL IT TAKES TO STOP DUMB QUESTIONS AND FAST-TRACK PEOPLE - oh wait, you WANT dumb questions, versioned intel, make them ask… more threads and posts right??).. meh, sorry they’re all like that to a point not just this one. So yes, stickies and loosen the tie a little please.

5. ABW - AbestWeb review - Visit: http://www.abestweb.com
Perhaps the ONLY forum I’ve ever been banned from and kicked off of… wankers! I made a HUGE blog and formal complaint about it a while back but decided to remove it due to their response/reaction… more wankers! Also very busy, MANY top level brands and bullshit commission structures on things like carpets/rugs/tangibles/etc… Lot’s of pro’s and I heard the owner can be a nice guy, but the short lived days I had there proved him and his crew otherwise…

In short: I launched a Recruitment and affiliate spy software (TFRP), and paid to put up a advertorial/recruitment post… The first response was a hidden insult at my whole program FROM A FCUKING MOD - Referencing another new member and getting the whole crew to come to my paid thread, and rip me plus my program to pieces… Ok cool, I got to show some colors too, and have a good look around at all their sigs, their thread style, their learning curve/operation etc… and can only say that the elitists there do a good job of making n00bs stay n00bs, and detouring any chance of real earnings with mouthy personal bullshit back and forth, ‘at least put some humor into it you WF wannabees’. Anyway so within a day, I got thousands of views, some PR, some negative buzz, a lot of affiliates, and a pissed off group of elitists for not ‘freaking out’ like I’m sure they hoped…

Finally posted my final ‘fcuk you and have a nice day, I’m out’ but in a very gentle way, and my post got removed, then my whole paid thread got removed… then got a refund and a ban and kick in the ass out the door for standing up for myself, because I was vexed that a MOD would make an idiot out of a sponsor/paying member publically (hi Trust - hope all is well in ‘fun’ mod land)- wankers! Before all this drama - I was STARTING to like SOME of the banter and the members and offers/pubs…, however will still say that most are stuck on selling rugs and see 3-12% commission on $59 offers as ‘amazing’ programs, SAS seems to have them by the balls along with a few other networks, and the digital arena products/services is just ’stench’ to them…. On the flip side - THEY BANK (just needs some clean up with operations/day to day bullshit they allow). **Oh and too much advertising imo too (I know they’re for profit, but c’mon - easy on the offers man - way to make me feel UNcommunity - what is this church? You’re waiving a money basket at me when I just got here??).

6. 5staraffiliateprograms.com review - Visit: http://www.5staraffiliateprograms.com/
One word - WOW - More on the corporate side of things, LARRY IS DA BOMB - and the main owner is actually really cool and involved with the op fairly intimately so the moderation is par… perhaps a tiny bit tight but for the programs and offers/clients/recruiters etc. that they attract, I think it’s best this way - To note the above - if ABW mods and members came to 5star, they’d get wake up call that’s for sure.

This place is like an affiliate and publisher wonderland full of anything and everything to do with our industry. News, gossip and funny banter is minimal - rather expect a mix of dry humor with witty banter and low tolerance to crapola. Also home to many networks sponsor threads and good recruiters/programs for all levels of experience. I said this once on there before - “Every Forum Needs A Larry” - And just might make him a t-shirt that says that oneday… Known not to sleep for 3 days because he actually PM’s just about everyone/anyone for any reason or just to help, or break their posting cherry, etc… (Wonder what he’s worth actually - most committed employee I’ve ever seen)… Kudos to you guys, sorry I’m not there as much, get an easier to remember domain and I’ll stop wasting time trying to get there and giving up .. . .. :P Jokes.

6. WickedFire GAY MARKETING FORUM review - Visit: http://www.wickedfire.com/
Two words - HOLY SHIT - “They can actually get away with this stuff?!?!” is probably the first thing you’ll think before visiting less than 4 threads. Perhaps the most diehard and down to earth AM forum - DEFINITELY NOT A PLACE FOR N00BS!! Lucky my name is Norb not noob - and although I PHAILED MISERABLY there on occasion - I’ll easily say that this is one of the best and upbeat places to mingle/stay active (just don’t transition from DP to there and you’ll be fine - maybe).

Amazing names and faces, top level industry veterans along with perhaps the most lethal dose of internweb humor you’ll ever experience… It’s like a Seinfeld episode and Kramer is 10x as fuct, mixed with many elements of ’survivor’ and a splash of ‘reality fcuk you’ daily n00by disaster pwnage…

All fun aside though - I’ve been there a little more often recently and after getting pwned myself, I’m making headway and gaining a few points with their elite .. . … i thinkz… See - if you haven’t been there you’ll think I’m an ass for calling it a gay marketing forum in the title lol, however once you get there and read some threads, you’ll see what I mean (no they are not actually gay - and no you should NEVER click on things - even when they look absolutely harmless… TRUST ME DON’T DO IT!!!) - it’s home to the most epic dickroll since the inception of the interweb, and you’ll be scarred for life!

Ok as you can see I’m really liking this one. However perhaps more than most others because it has a LOT of EDGE - kinda like me, though I’m quite tame in comparison - it’s amazing what they actually DO get away with - I won’t spoil it, and I won’t promise YOU will like it or fit in or get liked, but I will promise that it is packed with everything from black/blue/white/fcuking polkadot hat tactics, n00b guides, great threads, and an addictive humor base to boot.

6. WebmasterForums review - Visit: http://www.webmasterforums.com/
Kinda dry really, I think this was one of the ones I signed up to eonz ago and didn’t like it too much then either. It’s not that it’s bad - it’s just that I have to compare it with a LOT of other shtuff above - and that shtuff is just.. better.

Anyway - It’s got some great technoids that do seem to enjoy that side of the industry a lot more than actually making money (being a webmaster) - Not as busy as some of the others, not as intimate, and a lot of the threads are hard to decipher as it attracts a LOT of foreigners with horrible typing (god bless you all however you’re trying to break into the MARKETING spectrum in English speaking markets - you NEED to par up your writing/grammar before trying to be some expert/guru/makehmoniez ebook developer…)… Sorry but I’m giving this and DP the same playing field and user experience rating… At least this one laid out a little better and the pros/mods seems to care for the community a little more.

7. eWealth review - Visit: http://www.eWealth.com
I like it - Not as busy as many of the others, however home to many big names as well as great focused community involvement. Things to look for are the interviews with the pros, the announcements for programs/callouts to affs, and a well spread section for a few networks out there… Can’t really say too much more about it! 4.5 stars! (Good mods/good humor from senior members).

8. BlackHatWorld review - Visit: http://www.blackhatworld.com
Retarted amounts of info and ‘tools’ are available on this forum. If you’ve ever wanted to venture over to the wrong side of the digital legal tracks and see how to monetize them… this is the place to learn. It’s kinda funny actually - as my loyalty grew to this one slowly, I noticed that it’s actually filled with 80% n00bs too, most have no clue how or what all this BH stuff is, but want to eagerly learn/explore, and thus these n00bs probably (imo) evolve into amazing whitehat/greyhat marketers very quickly. I like hanging out in there sometimes because they don’t sugar coat shit, they don’t tollerate dumbasses, they explore and document sooo many tactics that you’ve probably never thought to do (and will probably be too chicken shit to try).

Once you get your initiation out of the way it’s smooth sailing… Not nearly as ‘bad’ as you’d think re the people or the vibe. Cheers to the admins/mods there they’ve been great to me (had a bunch of my shit shared there, and they actually have a blacklist for people like me to add their progs to make sure members don’t share them or they get banned - woot! And of course - I had to learn the hard way - everyones initiation is different)…

Damn I gotta run, was hoping to do at least 10 - perhaps I’ll do volume 2 later though I probably won’t… So in closing - yes I’ll probably still poke my head into all xx forums, no I probably won’t be signing up to anymore, HELL NO will I NEVER be paying for them like many dumbasses do, and HELL NO I don’t think I’ll be making my 2000th post at DP anytime soon…

I tried to raw - sorry if any of you owners read this and don’t like it - perhaps my own forum will now be under scrutiny but that’s fine mine is still a baby and has no $ agenda other than to honestly make my team money - because they sell my products they also make me money - so it’s in my best interest to make sure my forum, my family and my crew earn well, learn well and grow fast… /shameless plug.

The Digital Mafia Eco-System. What Role Do YOU Play?

Posted by ncmedia in: Affiliate Marketing 101, Blackhat Greyhat Marketing, Top Level Random Posts

Deep Thoughts about marketing online… Never thought I’d belong to a ‘gang’… but…

I, along with 500,000 others belong to a very elusive yet blatant group of digital entrepreneurs known as todays digital cartel or mafia. We still operate on the right side of the law, and 99% of us are simply trying our best to work from home and be a soldier in the affiliate marketing arena. Equipped with complex distribution systems, lucrative and attractive recruitment systems, stealth training in the art of influence, global outreach and addictive products - we account for billions of dollars that are spent and earned each year on the internet.

It’s almost too close for comfort when you compare this industry to any world renowned underground movement.

The Top Tier: The Networks - always taking a cut from everybody - the merchants setup fees, to transaction charges, to affiliates earnings, to your earnings, to penalties, etc. etc. - they will always be the biggest earners and rule makers. Rightfully so as they are the most important ‘organizers’ of our world.

The Production Houses and Product Lines: The people behind the manufacturing and assembly of any widget you can think of both on and offline (we’re still thinking on the legal side of the tracks here). They are next most important element in this world - without stuff to sell, there would be no point in any of this right?

The Bosses: These are usually known as your AM’s (affiliate managers). They are always keeping close watch on their chapter of the gang, ensuring a proper role is made and met by each individual in their chapter. When it’s a sensitive chapter, new members must be accepted individually and many are denied access and membership time and time again. Most AM’s are praised for their leadership skills and knowledge base when it comes to our world. Some are unfortunately also participating in secret alliances within their own eco-system robbing the gang blind. AM’s are often also responsible for recruiting, in fact many times they are rewarded for getting their chapter to recruit another tier of members, as is each member that does so successfully.

The Soldiers: Ahhhhh the soldiers. You can NEVER have enough soldiers. These are the 450,000 work from home enthusiasts who either make or break the bank with their time and efforts trying to move the product pushed down through the hierarchy above. If the bosses were expected to move this much product worldwide on their own, they would grow old and gray before they accomplished 10% of what the soldiers accomplish in a day. Soldiers are the ones that really drive the fiscal earnings for the hierarchy. Without them, our eco-system would also die.

The Customers: Well, no brainer here, the entire tree above is rendered irrelevant if there are no customers right? There needs to be a demand for your gangs product. If there is no demand, you need to influence one, you need to create awareness, give some product away for free - get the word out about getting your fix quick with a new and better solution than the last one… it ALWAYS gets better, and when mass awareness is generated, mass appeal is created, and demand is instigated. Much like bombarding teens with alcohol ads, the brands that reach them the most often and relate the deepest, are the ones these teens will stay loyal to for generations… influencing awareness/appeal/demand is very much alive in any eco-system of profit.

The MONEY: Now that you’ve gone through the most important parts of the hierarchy, it’s time to look at the most of important part and whole point of this gangland fraud infested digital warzone of an eco-system, the benjamins… the food that gets shared among all the predators and prey… All of this stuff above is a huge puzzle of odd shaped and complex pieces, that when put together - paint a very detailed and organized flow of profit/food at each level. It’s not just the average computer thug that is a part of this circuit of warriors either. We are doctors, lawyers, teenagers, teachers, moms, students, and anyone in the world that is connected to the internet. We are not a rare breed, rather a very intelligent one. We understand and analyze very complex scenarios in our battleground and create road maps to money, to defeating rival gangs or pushing more of your local mass appeal products… . .. It’s a beautiful honeycomb, filled with different levels of order, everyone working against each other yet together because we realize the importance of each role in our eco-system.

Often times each level of order and conduct expected is flawed, and though the ranks of the ladder are willfully grown climbed slowly - many are plagued with disease and soldiers gone wild, or cooked bosses and policy enforcers… Some common scenarios:

The initiation: This is just like entering a gang, instead of getting your A** kicked for 30 seconds, you get the label ‘newbie’, and must endure great agony via absorbing and dissecting countless bulls**t ebooks, videos, audio guides, reading forums, discovering how the eco-system works before you start learning what soldier boot camp even means…

The first hit: You finally got through your newbie days and got your first stripe by assigning yourself your first contract and task for your gang - to go out there and create an awareness campaign for your chosen product to push - and finally - you successfully converted your very first customers. You now understand and have proven the system is indeed real and alive, and thus you pledge allegiance that this gang is worth the blood in blood out… errr.. the money/time in - money out risk, you decide to dedicate the next phase of your life into this. By now you are usually close with an AM or a boss, have shown loyalty to a network and a production house, and have many allies/soldiers you have created alliances with.

Your first bit of real food: You’ve been hungry, you’ve been through fluctuations, you’ve set a big return on your hits and finally - you got your first check in the mail that’s worth mentioning or showing proudly to your mates/family - this is your first badge of honor. Your first reward worthy of an ear to ear smile and a little celebration before heading back into the battlefield.

Your brilliant idea. You’ve been a great soldier and one day get hit with an idea like a brick at your head - YOU are going to become a boss… and you will either step on toes and come out on top as one of the self appointed leaders with loyalty - OR - you will get shot down by other leaders, or by networks, or by soldiers, or even by no fault of your own however the ‘demand’ part of the equation above just doesn’t fall in your favor - so you crawl back into your soldier uniform and give it a few more big contracts before attempting THAT again.

Getting Robbed: Not at knife point, and not for your shoes or wallet… not at night in an alleyway either - EVERY single part of our eco-system gets robbed in many shady and carefully planned ways. For every smart CEO and security specialist, there is an equally smart dark side leader - just itching to get in on your loopholes, your products, your earnings. It’s simply a part of our nature. Some robberies are much worse than others, however luckily there is no violence or life loss in our jungle - simply bandwidth, virtual losses, financial losses and reputation, the odd time the robbers end up in jail however usually they are just kicked out of the gang with no help from bosses, and are left hungry/stripped of their recent rewards and food.

Getting out of the game: It’s tough, it’s an addiction, it’s all some know and want to know. Getting discharged as a soldier in this field sucks, but that doesn’t make you want to stop usually… Making money on the web is more than a hobby to most, and is a full time living to many. While it has it’s rude awakenings and comes with a need of a strong stomach and will to survive - it can be QUITE a lucrative journey if you belong to the right chapter, are loyal to your bosses and respect the morals/ethics and rules of the top tier organizers. None the less the turnover rate in this eco-system is HUGE, and is mostly among the soldiers, hence the constant and never ending supply of new gangs and bosses keep showing up trying to recruit to their gang - many fade quickly along with their whole chapter.

Even deeper than money: What thrives all this buzzing around above that goes deeper than the green monster? The yearning to set yourself free from the modern day slavery, as even sitting in front of a computer writing on this blog is not as beautiful as the beach and palm trees I should be sitting at. The keyword here = SUCCESS. << As long as there is the ability to be better and more stable than the next person, and as long as there is awareness/influence/demand/instigation, there will always be an uneven and viral influence of greed, hunger, growth, and addiction to success. As much as I preach it - I too, am still hungry for more, content but truly looking forward to the days I can spend less time in front of a screen and more time enjoying this planet and its wonders without the need of ANY eco-system but the one I create for myself at will… Cheers to that day, and may each and every one of you reach it too.

Bless you all, take a deep look at yourself and figure out what role you play in this - and if you’re new and have no clue what I just rambled about here - chances are it’s a good thing today, as this shark infested pool we call marketing is a rollercoaster ride, and fear will eat away at any man that entertains it - so if you’re looking to get into this eco-system please bring back up (time and money), please bring patience (willingness to learn and grow, and get scammed, and fail, and and and), please bring your A+ game, and please play by the rules of not only the top tiers, but of the unspoken rules of the digital streets too.

I Got Hacked And Liked It!… Karma Anyone? Cool True Story

Posted by ncmedia in: Blackhat Greyhat Marketing, Top Level Random Posts

I’m not even sure how to start this entry, other than saying that this past weekend catered to an interesting digital theft scenario not in my backyard, but more like my bedroom…

While doing a part of my daily geeking session - msn pops open with a message “Hey - “LINK” << Your product is being shared” or something or other - I click - and sure enough - I come to a blackhat forum where I am actually a member (for various reasons, and this being one of them), and see one of the members actually posting my download page - not only that - but I notice a TON of products that are jacked/cracked/shared via 3rd parties, etc., and everyone gets repped/thanked/etc. for finding the new gold, the new gems, the expensive programs, the stuff these scavengers will goob all over and download like crazy…

So - I sit back in my seat, and I think to myself “When I signed up here, I wondered if I was going to see my own stuff someday, and here I am, here it is, time to react”… I’ll tell you now - most publishers would probably do this

*Email the forum owner to remove the thread and add this to their ‘do not share’ list.
*Change the location of everything, perhaps put the files onto a totally different server.
*Perhaps expose this incident to the appropriate authorities (if there are any).
*Seek some type of compensation and immediate damage control.
*Perhaps document everything tightly for a week quietly, and then litigate the forum owner.
*Stay quiet about it and never say a word to preserve their pride and ‘unhackable claims’
**Insert other reaction here_______________

So I really thought to myself, you know - there probably IS another way to handle this without having to do any of the above, and to have karma work on my side here. It didn’t take much thought before simply changed a few things around on my server, but not enough to realllllly deprive that community of having it, just to make them work for it a little bit if they really want it. So here is what I did, and here is what happened…

*I post a quick hello and “hey this is my product, I’m flattered that a BH forum thinks my stuff is good enough to steal…”, and introduce/plant a little seed to cause a good buzz here - I wanted to have fun with this - I know I’m not bulletproof, if these guys are going stop at nothing to get my goods, I will at least take the good karma that comes from it, I’ll educate these cats on what and how good karma works, and I’ll flip this whole thread around into a promo for me by the time we’re done with it…
*A member advises that I ask the mod to put my product on the ‘do not share’ list, which I still might do, but for now - this little thread and theft is actually NOTHING MORE to me than some bandwidth… so I point out that since the thread was made, I am noticing a bump in my affiliates, an affiliate sale was recently generated, my site is getting more traffic, and without having to go against the skewed TOS, I successfully managed to now turn this into a full on recruitment tactic and networking opportunity - you can’t BUY the kind of publicity and attention this OP just gave me… so I gave him rep for it instead of freaking out on him for jacking my product. I also mention that people are free to PM me and I might be happy to just give them the link/product anyway… Perhaps to challenge them and myself, and to see if in fact any of them would PM me (within 48 hours - 4 PM’s - 29 jacked downloads as I left the location of the files the same and kinda liked watching my traffic logs to see the various creative ways these guys are getting to my page - taught me a lil’ here and there - thanks boyz).

*Next day - wake up to see many of the members leaving really heartfelt messages regarding all my programs i.e. “I love your sales pages”, “I second that”, “Hey great graphics”, “next compliment here”… Perfect, this is working already - so I express my gratitude and continue to disregard my option to notify the admin to add this to the ‘do not share’ list…

Instead I’m now milking all the marketers from that forum into joining my operation - and since then many have befriended me, approached me, offered partnerships on future projects with me, and for it being a blackhat forum, well, the scavengers are indeed there but so are quite a few elite and highly respected names. I have nothing to hide by being a member there, and want you all to know that right now - I LIKE being a member of a place like that so I can see what is possible, how and where the weaknesses lie within the various systems I support/need/work with, etc. And in turn, this knowledge has made me a much stronger white hat marketer. My clients are too sensitive, the projects I touch are too sensitive, and for me to try BH techniques would/could result in huge losses so I simply poke my head in, read what/where i can, have a few ‘AHA!’ moments, and take the knowledge with me on my way out…

The paradox of the thread is this: For all the community knows, along with the forum admins, this whole thing could have been a setup :)

For all the community knows, I paid the OP to post this in order to plant this seed and buzz campaign.

For all the community knows, I paid the admins to allow me to operate like this - after all its a black hat forum right?

For all the community knows, I AM the op, behind a set of proxies with multiple marketing identities and accounts.

For all the community knows, this black hat world could have just been hacked white hat style and gotten away with it - after all it’s marketing, influence, and perception not a creed of code of ethics among theives that the truly successful manage to attain.

And - for all the community knows, this was indeed all natural including all reactions including my own - but who will EVER know the real truth? I’ll take this one to the grave with me… As I’ve stated in a previous BH post - it’s a black hat world - after all.

Generous Marketing | How Being Nice Can SkyRocket Your Business | Marketing With Knowledge & Giveaways

Posted by ncmedia in: Branding & Design, Making Money Baby!, Top Level Random Posts

It’s funny nowadays that so many pirates have polluted forums, infested networks, taken control of the industry and consider themselves ‘the elite’ if there is such a thing… Some of these people are simply what I like to call ‘Virtual land owners’ - Their real estate online is ‘hot’ - they monetize by simply ‘being there’ with a great .com and a big head start in the industry… Lucky them huh? They get free user generated content, discussions, rantings, bashings, advice, chatting, creating pages and pages of backlinks and keyword stuffing << I just did it actually, just by trying to describe this process, go look up ‘generous marketing’ - .5million + results and I’m on page one within 2 hours (at time of this posting I’m at #3 - this lil’ blog of mine has some ‘juice’! **EDIT: now on page 2 ((the following day)) - however google sometimes reindexes or crawls and updates if you add/change pages, so generous marketing keyword << goes there, let’s see if re-adding the phrase “generous-marketing” a few times and changing my headline makes a difference and bumps me up again, I will update this part tomorrow or the next day) ((EDIT #2 - Following day - Now I’m on Page 1 - result #2!! this is for both google.ca and .com - it….worked;)) … Anyway so you think that if you could just get a site that gives you free content auto-generated and indexed quick, you can just throw some adsense in there - or some affiliate programs - or both (not recommended), that you can cash in the online cow and auto-pilot your revenue right?

Let’s take a different approach on things for a second though. Let’s talk about just good old marketing. When you get exposed to enough of it or have to look after many of your own clients, you see that sometimes the most bizarre techniques can actually get you the biggest results. Let’s look at internet marketing for a second, and the various ways we ‘do things’ in our day to day. We pick products to endorse, we buy ads everywhere, we get domains and set up tiny urls, we get opt-ins and autoresponders, we do upsells and retention campaigns, we re-cycle lists to keep trying to monetize them, we partner with others to do all of the above on a bigger scale… all in the hope of getting sales, affiliates, and at the end of the day consider yourself a good marketer paying his/her way through life with an internet connection…handsomely, hopefully!

Ok so ‘that other thought’ - everyone likes ‘free’ right? And everyone likes ‘money’ right? When you launch a campaign based around generous marketing or as I like to call ‘karma’ marketing - you have no idea what kind of buzz you can generate! Car manufacturers give cars away at promos or car lots all the time as prizes , in a branding effort, or a community effort, balloons are given away to kids at carnivals for the same - the feeling - the thought - it’s memorable and you’ll come back next time with a smile…. Marketers do it ‘every day’ and they do it in many different ways… but - there IS usually a catch, there IS usually someone, somewhere - that will want to monetize you or put other offers in front of you, I am no different! However this can also be done in a transparent way and under a good light…

Imagine if… you could offer someone some solid - genuine advice today. No really - some information that they perhaps were ‘craving’ for and having a really hard time finding… You might think of consulting or lawyering or a specialist you might hire or have hired. Now if YOU were the person that had the knowledge and information, how valuable would it be to you if you gave it away to your peers for free? How much ‘detail’ would you share? How much do you think you would be appreciated for offering someone that information - that could in fact make a big difference in their pockets and earnings? Sounds fishy right? of course, we’re all use to it - however when you have something people want, and you do a contest or a giveaway that is money related, you’re going to see that the response is huge and you will make an impression…

Here are two examples of such experiences, this goes to further shed light on a mass scale of all of the above.

Next time you’re thinking of a hot promo - allocate a part of your efforts to a giveaway. Bonuses seem to run a large portion of the daily sales for many people - adding bonuses to your offers along with free knowledge, well - now we’re ‘talking’….

Make it a great day!

Project Wealthy Giveaway - Wow!

Posted by ncmedia in: Affiliate Marketing 101, Top Level Random Posts

Well, today marks a pretty cool day for various reasons…

Project WealthyFirst and foremost, my blog got polished up today! I am told there are no more bugs, no more glitches, and I can finally start my rambles and creative posts. It’s been a few months of building, designing, coding, and finally, today I get a message from my coder that the blog is ‘good to go’, so welcome!

Second, I decided that since my marketing efforts, programs for clients, and my own product lines are doing well, I would give back to the communities I am involved with and try to bring up the next generation of marketers under my wings.

I decided to create a post at Digital Point (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=788465) where I thought I would give a few copies away. While writing the post I figured “A few won’t be enough, I gotta do something really special!” So a ‘few’ turned into 10. All I asked people to do was post *I want Project Wealthy*. I’ll be honest, I was expecting maybe 20 or so people as I only gave it a 24hr window of time.

It was the middle of the day, and I decided to see if anyone had responded, and see how bad people really want this product. See, even though the product now costs $250 (was $99), it was the very first product I ever made coming into the ClickBank world, so it didn’t get the attention or the play I was hoping it would, as I had no affiliates, no real budget to push this, and was already thinking 3 products ahead….

A few months later, I am up to 7+ products, 3-4 more launching in the next few months, and I had raised the price of PW to $250 as a test, so the conversions… well… just stopped! And so I just let it sit there, until today…

To my surprize, i am looking at the forum, my thread, and see 78 posts, and least 70 separate people making creative attempts to get their copy, WOW. Another thing I notice - new affiliates come on board, sales start happening - my own generosity of giving my product away created quite the buzz, sales, affiliate recruitment, and I am left with having to tell an associate she must pick 15 people out of the 70 as winners.

She spent the day looking at the posts, the members, and has since chosen the winners based on both random criteria, and by her own formula of who she thought was deserving… Without further adue - here are the winners of the Project Wealthy Give-away. http://www.projectwealthy.com- you are getting copies of the FULL kit, all PLR/MRR included.

All I DO ask you to do though (optional) is say hello in a comment, this blog literally just opened and is not officially launched however this post might as well be my big opener…

Things I’ve learned about this give-away.
* When you give something away for free, of real value, your response rate is huge!
889 views=78 posts=all in 24hrs (or 36 hrs actually).
* Nothing like the feeling you get helping people and seeing how bad some want/need it.
* Most people that posted, have good sigs, they are marketers.
* With this much demand, I feel that IM’ers in my shoes should do more for those just entering our world. I’m not giving away my secrets, as I’m a fond believer in proven systems and deregulated tactics, there are no secrets imo, either you are good at marketing and flexible with your learning/deployment of strategies, or you will learn to be good at marketing eventually, OR - you ‘just don’t get it’ and never will. God bless those of you that go through years of trial and error before you catch on and finally make a living from this stuff, it IS hard, and nobody can tell me any different. If it’s easy for YOU, then you were meant to be a promoter/marketer/sales person etc. and imo should in fact pursue this more.

If you didn’t WIN a copy but posted in the thread - I’m going to give 5 more copies away here on my blog. All you have to do is post a very creative comment and reason why you should be one of the winners. I will make a ‘part 2′ to this post announcing those winners within a week.

Thank you to all that participated, I’m glad I can be of help to you all, and some of you might not find THAT much new great information, however all in all PW should give you more than enough information to enable growth in your business on or offline.

All my best, if you are one of the winners feel free to drop a comment claiming your prize and or just say hello here please!

I will do more give-aways over the months to come, as my world seems to be getting better by the day with my new initiatives so it truly is time for me to start giving back.

Thank you again fellow business enthusiasts, and see you at the top!
